Three Aggies were instrumental in the success of the Artemis II mission, the Liberty Bell replica will be relocated during the Academic Building renovation, Wayne Roberts ’85 was selected as interim president and CEO of the Texas A&M Foundation, and a BUILD clinic was opened in Burton, Texas.

Dr. Susan Ballabina named 28th president of Texas A&M University

On May 6, The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents unanimously voted to appoint Dr. Susan Ballabina as the 28th president of Texas A&M University. The Board’s action follows the completion of the state’s required 21-day waiting period and confirms a leader whose experience, judgment and record of service have earned broad confidence across the Texas A&M System.

Branch Campuses and Teaching Sites

Texas A&M Galveston campus

The island campus offers the nation’s most comprehensive coastal, marine and maritime degrees, with undergraduate and graduate programs. The campus is home to Texas A&M Maritime Academy, one of six state maritime academies in the U.S. and the only one on the Gulf Coast.

Texas A&M Mcallen campus

The education center provides top-tier programs to fulfill student career goals, enhance the region’s economic development and produce a skilled workforce. It serves the Rio Grande Valley and offers 10 undergraduate programs.

Texas A&M at Qatar building

The university provides undergraduate and graduate programs in engineering. It also offers instruction in science, mathematics, liberal arts and the humanities.
