On Nov. 30, Texas A&M University will face The University of Texas on the football field for the first time in 13 years at the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown. But you don’t have to be a football fan to enjoy the weekend, as there will be a wide variety of events to choose from. There will be a Fightin’ Texas Aggie Yell Practice and the 12th Man Fireworks Show, a Football Ruck, Movies at Rudder Theatre and the 13-0 Burn BBQ Cook-Off. And don’t forget to get your tickets — starting at $25 per person — to the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown Concert presented by ASA Events while you can. It’s going to be a great time in Aggieland!

Registration For Employee Learning Week Open

Registration is now open for Employee Learning Week (ELW), which will be held Dec. 3-12, with sessions offered both in person and virtually. ELW features five new courses this year, including Crucial Conversations for Accountability, Crucial Influence, Mastering Emotional Intelligence Level 1 and the Power of Habit. Registration will remain open through 5 p.m. on Nov. 15 or until all seats are filled.

Film Showing To Honor Victims Of Bonfire Collapse

As we approach the 25th anniversary of the Bonfire collapse, Texas A&M is honoring the lives of those who were lost on Nov. 18, 1999. Various events can be attended by the public, including a showing of the documentary The Burning Desire, produced by 12th Man Productions, on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. in Aggie Park.

Texas A&M Sponsors No. 4 Josh Berry In NASCAR Season Finale

This weekend, buckle up to watch Josh Berry race the No. 4 Texas A&M Ford Mustang Dark Horse in the final NASCAR race of the season. Hosted on Nov. 10, the Sunday before Veterans Day, the race will emphasize a common dedication between the two institutions to those who have served our country. Watch or listen to the race live on NBC and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
