Maroon And White Fun Run: Volunteer To Support Staff

Created to help members of the Aggie Family in need, the Staff Emergency Fund provides limited financial assistance to Texas A&M University staff members across all locations experiencing a temporary hardship due to a significant life event. The Maroon and White Fun Run helps generate funds to support this important initiative and provides an opportunity for all faculty, staff and students to give back as volunteers.

From April 30 through May 2, the University Staff Council enlists the help of volunteers to support race packet stuffing and pick-up, and on May 3, race day, help is needed with course set up, general wayfinding and assisting guests as they visit Aggie Park. Volunteering at this event can also count toward required service hours. If you register to volunteer by April 14, you’ll receive a free event T-shirt as a small token of appreciation for your time in supporting staff. Sign up to volunteer online by May 1.

This is a fundraising event and the net proceeds will go to support the Staff Emergency Fund, an account held at Texas A&M Foundation.
